Leadership

Fundamental to our understanding of church leadership is the truth that Jesus Christ is head of the church and takes an active part in it. We believe that every member of the church is critical to its existence because each person is called, equipped and gifted for a ministry.

We follow the governing model of leadership found in the New Testament—a plurality of elders who are equal & accountable to one another and responsible to help members reach their full potential within the church.

We also have many team leaders for the various activities we are involved in locally and abroad, some of whom are listed below.
 
As a relatively small independent church without denominational ties, we have appointed a Council of Reference comprising respected external Christian leaders who serve as a guide and a check upon us.
